Parenting and Its Impact on the Children You Love

We recently met with two Judges and a Magistrate in Douglas County. They preside over Family Law issues in Colorado. Jones Law Firm, PC has been working with all three for years and one of the Judges recommended three websites for parents and professionals dealing with parenting time issues. We thought we should pass them along to you here they are:

uptoparents.org (for divorcing parents);

proudtoparent.org (for parents never married);

postcardsfromsplitsville.com

The interface is very simple. The content is deep.

You’ll find a sample template for a Parenting Plan (another sample Plan can be found at courts.state.co.us. click on Forms/Family Law). A guide to recognizing domestic violence and a resource for those is crisis. The National Domestic Violence Hotline is available 24/7 at 1−800−799−SAFE (7233). . The thrust of the information is designed to help keep you focused on co-parenting and resolving issues. The last website is the greatest reminder—it is a collection of pictures drawn by children who are embroiled in parenting disputes reflecting and expressing how conflict affects them.
