Originally from Billings, Montana, Burke Johnson has made Colorado home for 27 years. With a career shaped by leadership roles at Empower, Lincoln Trust Company, and American Trust Company, he brings deep operational insight to his position as Chief Operating Officer. Burke is driven by building systems that work—refining processes, integrating technology, and developing teams so they can perform with clarity and purpose. His leadership style is grounded in accountability, collaboration, and helping others grow into stronger, more confident leaders.
Burke earned his BA from Whitman College and went on to receive his MBA from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. While newer to the legal services industry, he draws on years of experience guiding organizations through change, ensuring operational structure supports both long-term goals and day-to-day success. His focus is on creating efficiency without losing the human element—aligning people, process, and strategy.
What you may not know: Burke spends much of his free time outdoors. He enjoys skiing, golfing, hiking, biking, traveling, and cooking—always exploring new trails, new courses, and new flavors whenever he can.
