Macy Werham

Paralegal

Macy Werham has spent most of her life rooted in Colorado, building more than 25 years of personal and professional connection to the state before relocating to Gilbert, Arizona during the pandemic to be closer to family. Even after nearly five years in the desert, Macy continues to work with Colorado law firms, staying true to the place where her legal career began and where her experience is strongest.

Macy’s path into family law started early—long before she officially became a paralegal in 2008. Raised in a family law environment, she grew up helping in her parents’ firm and learning the rhythms of the profession firsthand. Over the past 17 years, she has served with respected firms including Heckenbach Suazo, Cox Baker & Page, and The Harris Law Firm, and most recently supported Cherry Creek Law Group’s founder, Jennifer Loud, in building and running her solo practice.

Family law holds deep meaning for Macy. As both a child of divorce and a single mother, she brings empathy, understanding, and lived experience to clients navigating intensely emotional situations. She values being a steady guide during moments that feel overwhelming, offering support grounded in compassion and practicality.

Outside of work, Macy’s world revolves around her 10-year-old daughter and their three dogs. Between cheer and dance competitions, trips to the park, and enjoying Arizona’s sunshine, her schedule stays full in the best way. She’s also a devoted true-crime fan—if there’s a podcast or documentary available, she’s probably already seen it.

What you may not know: Macy never expected to be a “dog person,” but after falling in love with one pup, she suddenly found herself with three. Life, as she says, has a sense of humor.
