Sitting in gallery benches day after day, she realized she wanted to do more than report on defining legal moments. She wanted to stand beside the people living through them and advocate for their future. Balancing a full-time journalism career with evening law classes, she earned her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston, bringing her composure under live pressure, sharp communication skills, and relentless drive straight into family law.

Admitted to practice in Texas in 2019 and Colorado in 2023, Jessica helps clients navigate divorces, custody disputes, asset division, and parenting plan modifications. Her background in journalism, Spanish proficiency, and active involvement with the Colorado Diverse Attorney Community Circle shape her approachable style with clients from every walk of life. Jessica views her work as helping people rebuild from the ground up. Deeply involved in leadership across the state, Jessica serves as Second Vice President of the Denver Bar Association, sits on the Executive Council for its Young Lawyers Division, and serves on the Executive Council for the Colorado Bar Association. Outside the office, Jessica is a self-proclaimed side-quest queen whose endless curiosity keeps life adventurous. She is always picking up new trades or taking impromptu masterclasses, like earning a bartending certificate just for fun. A passionate Latin dancer, she spends her weekends salsa and bachata dancing across Denver, and when it is time to unwind at home, she loves getting lost in a good psychological thriller.
