Dawn Gould joined Jones Law Firm as a Senior Attorney after moving to Colorado in December 2020. Originally from Annapolis, Maryland, Dawn brings nearly two decades of experience representing clients across family law, financial services, and civil child support matters. She has built her career helping clients navigate complex legal processes with clarity and confidence, ensuring they understand every step of the journey. Dawn is especially passionate about breaking down legal procedures in a way that is accessible, so clients feel informed and supported rather than overwhelmed.

Since beginning her legal career in 2007, Dawn has worked with a variety of organizations, including private law firms, government agencies, and her own practice, GouldLaw, LLC. She is admitted to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Colorado, and actively contributes to the legal community through her work with the Colorado Bar Association, the Colorado Women’s Bar Association, and Metro Volunteer Lawyer’s Service.

What you may not know: When she’s not advocating for clients, Dawn enjoys plating meals to make everyday dishes feel extraordinary, shooting pool (she earned her law school pool stick from Minnesota Fats the Hustler), golfing, and vacations with a water view. A self-proclaimed methodical eater, she prefers to enjoy each food item one at a time, though she doesn’t mind when flavors mix.

When I got the case, there was not a parenting plan in place but child support was ordered through FSR. Father retained me and I was able to obtain a shared 50/50 parenting plan and joint decision-making for a Father after Mother only allowed him to have parenting time on weekends because she just did not like Father and would not involve Father in her decisions for the child and I was able to reduce his child support by hundreds due to the shared parenting time order
